Against the static, cavern like volume of a new City office reception a series of glass installations contrast the formal rigidity of the space. Within the seaming time-less arrival space the concept was to introduce elements of dynamic temporality, fragility, colour and plasticity.
Large laminated glass panels with geometric coloured interlayers are lent, overlapping against the walls appearing apparently unfixed and temporary. Through the south facing openings daylight projects and distorts the gradated colours across the surface of the Portland stone walls creating temporal and dynamic moments within the space.
