Watling Street is an office refurbishment project located within an historical quarter of the City of London. The project includes full refurbishment of four floors of office space, common areas, two new receptions and bespoke furniture design.

The site contains four existing building elements linked above ground floor, with two of the buildings Grade II listed. Sitting between the significant sites of St Paul’s Cathedral and Queen Victoria Street, Watling Street is an intimate, pedestrian scale in contrast to its surroundings. The project creates new identities for the unlisted facades and office entrances. Black painted brick and black metal framed openings emphasis the angular, elemental detailing of the existing fabric. The design character continues into the office receptions that are significantly altered and reinterpreted with bespoke furniture elements to become distinct and legible arrival spaces. The refurbished office floors provide 2,000 sq.m of Grade A office accommodation together with terrace spaces and ancillary services.
